I don't usually boomerang these days, but it happens sometimes. I also take one or two days off tags every so often, and barring exceptional circumstances, I don't let tags sit for any longer than a week. TAGGING FORMAT & LENGTH I adapt easily. If my RP partner prefers brackets, then I'll do brackets, likewise with prose. Same goes for tag length, although I do like for action/log threads to have some substance to them. GENRES I will play just about anything, but I have a preference for action, romantic/ships, angst, drama. Gen is always welcome, of course. Not big on horror, and not all that interested in crack either. However, I'm always open to discussing new ideas. SHIPPING & SMUT I'm a sucker for ships, so long as there's chemistry between the two characters in the RP setting then I am down for it. Likewise with smut; and I'm very kink-friendly. As far as canon goes I ship Garak/Bashir, and I largely prefer m/m for Garak, although I'm open to m/f as well.

IC INFO NAME Elim Garak CANON POINT anything up to mid-season 6 of DS9 SPECIES Cardassian OCCUPATION former spy and assassin for the Obsidian Order; currently a tailor APPEARANCE 6' / 182cm in height, broad figure, wide shoulders and chest. As a Cardassian, he has light-gray skin, thick and a little rough to the touch, and he has ridges around his eyes which go up from his brow to his forehead, as well as a few scales going along from his ear to the sides of his jaw. More distinctively, he has two thick vertical neck ridges that go all the way back to the crown of his head. He also has an inverted tear-shaped ridge in the center of his forehead. His hair is black and kept slicked back, varying in length though never kept too short. He has blue eyes. CURIOSITIES Garak prefers a darker, warmer and more humid environment than humans. Bright lights and loud noises are uncomfortable for him, and they can reach a point where it's almost unbearable. His hearing, however, is not as acute as that of a human. Like all Cardassians, Garak went through rigorous training as a child, which enabled a variety of mental abilities, such as a photographic memory and the ability to resist various forms of telepathy, mind-reading and mind-control. In his youth, Garak's father, Enabran Tain, would discipline him by locking him inside a closet, and as a result, he developed a severe and nearly crippling case of claustrophobia.

OOC PERMISSIONS BACKTAGGING Perfectly alright. Especially when it comes to memes and PSL threads, I don't mind it at all if my RP partners take weeks to get back to me. THREADHOPPING There's little sense for this to happen in memes and PSL's, unless previously planned and plotted out. 4TH WALLING Let's talk about it first. INFOMODDING & GODMODDING No, thank you.

IC PERMISSIONS HUGGING Yes, if you're a friend or close acquaintance. Expect some awkwardness anyway, though. KISSING Depends on the context, but I'm not opposed to it. Just expect to be pushed away if unprompted. FLIRTING Absolutely. FIGHTING Yes. INJURING Yes for minor injuries, but more serious damage is up for discussion too. KILLING No. TELEPATHY & MIND-READING Cardassians go through rigorous mental training as children, and to add to this Garak is a former spy. This is very unlikely to happen, however I am open to discussing ideas. MIND-CONTROL Same as above!
